With those prices they be high in more ways than one. What were they smoking? Good friend of mine will custom make nicer ones than that for alot less and its custom made to fit you and he offers lotta different types of furs and styles.

didnt really look at the finished stuff they made, i was looking more and some of the tanned hides ( some of which are a bit pricey) but some of the claws and such didnt seem to bad, mostly the craft stuff.

There prices may be a little high for finished stuff...$8000 for a bed-spread!! hdslp srndr... but for us craftsman, there prices seem pretty fair.

For a lot of years I made me living as a fur trapper. (I trapped the wolf in my avatar dntn) I can say that I recieved more money for my raw fur than they are charging for some of there tanned stuff.. $350 for a good (raw skin) bobcat is not uncommon... You can get one from them (tanned) for $130!... yeah I don't suppose you will be getting a giant 40lb Tom with a long, wide, spotted belly... but who needs that when you are making a hat or possibles bag.

I am a professional leather worker/saddle maker now.  I have several accounts with business and wholesale pricing... I can say that a lot of their leather and supplies are VERY fairly priced.. especially since these are Retail prices... For example.. there Artificial Sinew is $10 for the big spool... Tandy's "Elite" club pricing is still $12... On the hair-on cowhides $125-$175 is a good buy... and what I really liked about this site is that they (I think) show a picture of the item you will recieve... most leather suppliers show a generic picture and you will never know what is going to show up in the big brown truck. I am not sure if that is the case with all the leather that they pictured, but I saw that there skirting leather was less than $5 a foot.. that is a good buy.  It is a great buy if they are sending actual pictured sides (really sucks to get a huge brand right in the middle of you hide),.. I spend between $120-$220 a side for good skirting... so with theres being less than $100 a side... thats is a good buy!

There claws and skulls are also good buys... Mountain Lion Claws!! You don't see these everyday.. and the "Dew-claws" are even harder to get flwa

They might be high but I'd like to get my hands on that fisher mountain man style hat
