Jean,  Sorry but when I left camp, I left the  camera behind. Proved my little 32 was a squirrel gun!!!  See post under 'makin' meat'

Did like the pictures. My wife especially liked the one looking down on the valley. Guess I'll have to be with the photos though as I doubt I'll ever be getting down that way.

You have much to be thankful for, what beautiful country and wide open clean spaces and air.  slobber , drewll,  Like your dog to, they are a tad bit "headstrong" but nothin wrong with a good huntin dog!  thanks for sharing some of God's creations,

I appreciate the photos, that's some awesome country sir. I could just live up there, heck with ever coming out except for supplies to stay longer. Nothing like the companionship of a good dog. I'm green with envy.

That Big Bear area of the San Bernadino mountains of CA. is a pretty place to go..Jean was real active around these sights for a while, but like many of us the economy and job situations affected him adversly,  Haven't talked to him or Grandma Judy in quiet a while. He also used to get out with Dry Ball and crew in those  Mts.  Times and people pass.  You are bringing up some ole memories digging through those old posts....keep it up....

That is absolutely beautiful country!  Talk about a place to visit!
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.
