Plainsman

Out of no where this box shows up at the door on Halloween. And inside the boy finds this beautiful, curly maple stocked Rugrat .45.

Out of the kindness of his heart, Mike sent this to my boy who was already head or heals in love with blackpowder. Now there is no turning back!!

Thanks Mike, we will be sure to post pics from his first range trip and his next sub jr match.

Mike is top knotch in my book any day! Now I await my Lancaster!

Red Badger

Great!  Only problem I see is his finger is already on the trigger....

In my experiences with Mongrel, It was me constantly asking questions sometimes 3 or 4 times. pnic  He was very patient with me because he wanted me to understand what I was getting into (and I guess explain it thoroughly enough to stop "buggin" him.) yakyak  He comes across on the boards as a really I guess for lack of a better term, tough and leave me alone type person, but he has a heart of gold (especially for kids) as evidenced by his whole philosophy of the Rugrat concept.  When you meet him face to face, the man is truly a saint (reformed of course) and is more than willing to share his time and expertise with anyone who will listen.  To him, each project is a masterpiece (which they are) and not just a factory turning out guns for money.  Something we have lost along the way in America......customer service, and pleasing the customer.  I not only consider him an excellent gun builder, but a great source of information, all around nice guy, and most of all, a friend..........Bandman
