update on forge / toys

well some good news Old Salt and I messed around a bit with the forge last night "hummmmm the smell of coal burning!!! "  was only a test run of the belt that we had to replace for the blower not a great fix but till the belt spice teeth are back in stock the old ones will have to do GRRRRRR!!! worked great have added a bender and  220 mig welder to our little shop full of toys ( starting to worry Old Salt going to start charging me rent at this point I can see me spending more time there and at home .... oh well will be worth it ) looking forward to the temp dropping a bit so we can fire everything up and really get to cranking out a few things

Forge works good. Made a few tent pegs and tried my hand at a sping fuller, not quite able to get the bend like I want, need to fix up a ring cone. Or maybe just more hammer time. 100+ not good on old man.

glad that you got some time on the forge today hope you got out early this morning wasn't to bad this morning when I headed to work (yes I know this is a family site and here I am saying 4 letter words) lol

OK,you 2, what have you gone and stirred up?   What am I gonna have to figure in the budget for room and board for the Red Badger to come play with you boys?!!
