Brokenhawk...my clan could use hawks too...practice ones are OK.  my son flattened a pipe and set "head" into piece of wood...anything would be better than his great design..exc. rubber..well maybe hard rubber..

 We"ll i guess i need to get crankin on them soon. Waiten for my coal to get here. Have tried other materials and have had some success but everything burns up so fast.

 thmbsup Just a little update here.Ive been usin this knife fer everything,from cuttin steak to twine.Works great for every thing so far.I guess ifn i ever git to go on a buffler hunt it may be alittle small fer that.lol.Mike yas makes a blade worthy of Jim Bowie yas does!

thanks for the feedback. I want my knives to be used, not put in a drawer.
Many moons ago, I learned about the three F's of design from one of my engineering Prof's: form, fit and function. All three must be considered to be of equal value in a product. I have tried to do this every time I make a knife. My fondest wish is that my knives will still be in use long after I am gone.
