First Forged Pliers

I finally forged some pliers for my 18th century kit. Not that pretty, but they work. The 7" are made from 3/8" round stock and the 5 1/2" from 5/16" round.

They look very stout and i'm sure they pack a bite. You did a good job. How long did they take you to make the set? Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. thmbsup

Thanks everyone. I made the 7" pliers first and had to sort of feel my way. I would guess 2 1/2 hours total. I would be able to make pliers in an easy hour now. Course purty would take longer. ;D

Anyone who works a forge in this weather has my respect!  I like the pliers too, solid and functional.
