So then when someone is attacked by a Bear,Cougar, It's not a "wild animal". Then what are we to PC say.  A free range creature ruffed up someone today. Does this mean we're going to have prison's or jails for them now? I see a new field for attorney's now.

Oh, it wouldn't be right to imprison them. They've obviously been abused when they were young. We need to investigate & determine how & by whom they were mistreated. After all, if these beings were left to there own devices they would all be vegetarians ( w/ apologies to forum members who are vegetarians. No disrespect meant.) and practice birth control to keep their populations in check. Sorry, my dog is a companion but she is still a pet. If she is a free being, why doesn't she  buy her own food and pay for her own care.

And I suppose fleas, ticks and chiggers are just misguided creatures(oh that sounds to spooky)  or what ever they want to call them who are just  "homeless and hungry"   :mini-devil-28492:

What is next, cruelty to plants and single celled animals? Seems like whenever the door gets opened to someone pondering with a fascination with their opinion about what is fair, the media makes things explode into this dramatic win/lose scenario where reality gets pushed aside and we end up having to justify our own existence. People wonder why we are diametrically opposed on so many things, when you begin painting everything black and white, you get classified into one side or the other. Then it is push, push, push. Makes you want to slap somebody and tell them to keep their opinion to themselves so we all can enjoy life for awhile without some buffoon coming along a stir up problems that shouldn't be problems.

I believe there is a group out there somewhere, who think plants are sentient and should have rights just like all other of God's Creatures...

of course I subscribe to the premiss that I will eat anything if I am hungry enough but I do give thanks for allowing me to sustain myself....

There are people like that!  I caught one episode of "Wife Swap" when it first started, and they choose two women to trade places and pick the most diametrically opposed people in the world too.  One woman actually had the husband and his kids outside every morning standing in the sun to get their daily "energy" and stated that if she could get all of her nutrition from the sun she would.  You should have seen the look on the kids faces!
