Hey red badger how far is that from Henreyeta, OK. Were suppose to visit the rest of the wifes family there about fall. Might stop in.

Bulldog lady

Just to add to Red Badger's post, these are really nice folks, alot of fun, traders, folks who just love blackpowder and good friendship.  Shooting matches, hawks, bows the whole nine yards and kid events also.  (they really cotton to doing the kids and make an effort to see the prizes are nice), not just the kids but the grown ups also.  They have firewood for free and a beautiful team of horses brings ice and water several times a day (not free).  The buffalo and other animals are there for the viewing and sometimes visit, there is a wonderful museum of everything from old to new.  Bartlesville is real close if you want to do modern overnight and  come just visit camp for the day..  Would love to see any of our online friends show up.  Di

maybe a 2 hour drive... but well worth a day trip!  The museum alone is a world wide attraction, The have a lot of Frank Phillips (aka Phillips petroleum aka Conoco Phillips) stuff and lots of native american things, along with a modest zoo with buff and other critters free roaming - every now and then we have to chase buff and elk out of the camp area... and no we can't shoot them....  ROFL

Added - went to mapquest - it is 100.31 miles from Henryetta to Woolaroc so my 2 hour guess about right, If yoy type Woolaroc OK in as a start or destination it comes up fine...

Too late fellas. That funny colored creature set me ta guarding the jug stash. Funny thing is he doesn't know I'm relocating, um uh guarding and keeping it safe. Yeah that's it keeping it safe.  blah Maybe he'll be gone long enough to forget about the cache. We all know how those older fur bearers gets forgetful. What? Darn, I hate stopping in mid thought. Ah can't always remember which direction I was thinking. Oh well, nice sort of day outside huh??
