This event is the first weekend in April -  I'll ask the Booshway to provide more details... But it is one of the only times to find the three Factors of this site togather in one location at the same time!

We have some older style weapons this year a wheel lock pistol and 1 English and French match lock and a whole lot of was clubs.

Nice pictures Red Badger.. What was he fleshing in the first couple pictures. Love the hut . Did you guys make it, or does it stay up year around?.That sure is a cool noise maker you got there. What size ball do you shoot out of the cannon? Thanks for sharing... thmbsup

he is me.... that is a small mule deer I'm working on.
The Cannon belongs to a friend or Old Salts and Mine I believe the bore is about an inch and 3/4, last time I saw it fired with a projective it was about 15 lbs of various size round ball we gathered from donations at the Grouse creek Rendezvous last fall.  I think Arkansas city would have a bit to say if we loaded a projectile in it at this event.....    :mini-devil-28492:

Now I know what you look like.. Bet it made a mess when you fired off the cannon.. Probably a good thing you didn't fire it there.. thanks for sharing. thmbsup

Bulldog lady

used  TP for shot and made good demo for the kids.  These were just some of the sights on the back side of the encampment, the rest were on the top side, Old Salt should have some pics. Had a great time,

The canon Badger is talking about is a 1 3/4 bore. Rick and I are talking about putting in on a field carrage this summer. We will have see what we come up with.
