Dang %$#*^!@@!!!$#
Was just out in the shop cutting out some patches for this weekend and had a couple that didn't cut clean with the punch so I grabbs a knife (that is for someone on the forum) to cut them apart Get them apart ok but then I lose my grip and drop the knife thats now headed for me foot. Here's the dumb part Instead of moving foot I catch knife  :o very very sharp knife at that now have thumb and two phalanges dripping blood as I go to the house to assay the damages. Nothing bad just 3 nice clean bleeding cuts.
Note to self Read the sticky on "KNIFE SAFETY"  in this section

Jerry at least ya smart enuff to lurn from it
Good first aide   A spider's web placed into a wound will help clot the flow of blood ... in case of a very severe cut   a shoe lace will help make a good pressure bandage...along with a clean shirt rag or hankerchief, do not stop the flow of blood from an artery unless the limb will be lost... or will clearly save the life.
I think knives hurt people more than guns ...
guns just hurt more animals.
LOL

It's sure hard to stop that natural reaction to grab what ever slips out of your hand.  I've done the same thing before.  Jerry, once you learn not to grab at a blade, next you got to learn to jerk your foot out of the way!  I'm still working on that one.  :D

It's not what tool you use to hunt with.
It's that you use the tool Legally and Ethically

least it was sharp.....duller blades leave jagged edges and are harder to get healed up

Just make sure the spider is out of it first. ;)
