Patch knife

I have a patch knife that I made from one of those kits... it has an antler handle (deer) and the blade is one of those scandinavian grind types... it may not be really period correct, but it holds an edge really well and has a nice patina on it from having been used as a small game skinner for a month or so.

I'll post a picture tonight... It's free to a good home

I made a new friend at my first 'voo a couple of weeks ago who gave me a patch knife he made, and I think I would rather carry the one that he gave me because it was a gift.  It's almost identical to the one I made, but he made it out of an old straight razor... pretty unique.

If you send me a pm with your address I'll get it in the mail tomorrow... I didn't get a pic tonight because I was too busy trying to figure out my wife's scanner LOL...

I'll take a pic tomorrow.

I hope something wasnt wrong with the address because I never recieved the knife. I hope it isnt lost in the postal blackhole! LOL!

The only black hole it was lost in was my wife's minivan.  She was supposed to mail it for me weeks ago, but she forgot.

At least I got an apology from her, and you married guys know how hard it is to get one of those from a wife!

I got the patch knife in the mail yesterday! Thank you so much! It is a very nice knife, great job on it! Now I just need to make a sheath for it and add it to my possibles bag. Thanks again!!!!
