  COOL... I actually had an idear dat  was liked an put inta action. Guess my old noodle do still work sometimes...... No wait...... i thought it was still working but I was wrong... Durn it now what was it I were thinkin?

I'd have to dig out my log books but it was back in the early 90's used to go up there 2-3 times a year when I lived in Minneapolis & St. Paul ...  had to give up my scuba Instructing when I hurt my neck in 94... (and have not dove much since)

  Would be cool to know. We have alot of old mines that are now lakes within 50 miles of here. I am sorry you had to give it up. If ya ever get up this way again, let me know--theres lots here to see and do.

Got a big map of United States and commencing to put pins in, at least in general vacinity of locations that have been posted,  Voy this is a great idea, when all said and done think can get idea of folks who are close enought to maybe have area rondy's.  Maybe just wishful thinking, but who ever said I could think

  I think the area rondy would be a great idea. Startin ta think I am bout the only Minnesota party here though. I am not sure what the curent membership numbers are but I do know there are lotsa welcomes goin out on a regular basis. Be cool ta see the map when its done.

just a note for all the new folks and the old ones as well, the map is comming along great but sure got some big BLANK areas , esp out west and north.     This is "purely voluntary" and not asking for your personal address, just a close city or some there's about that can find on atlas.  The areas are starting to fill in and think maybe when it done or so so, and compile it and  can get you names of folks in  your general area and maybe you can set up some MLC rondys,  be lots of fun I'm a guessin,  thanks BLady

How many members do we now have anyway? I know there are welcomes going on daily so we must be starting to get up there in memeberships.

As of today 601 members but I have not looked to see who are active and who are not - also Dennis and Tony ar never going to be removed from the active list....

As for Regional Rondy's that is up to you guys to figure out... I know that we will have a spot for anyone from the forum at the Grouse Creek Muzzleloaders Rondy in Nov....

We gain new members everyday and  I would like ti  invite all who want to , to log in under location, you don't have to be pinpoint, just some close place I can find on atlas.  This is purely voluntary but as fall nears close ,would be nice for us to try and get together in area rondy.  Or this is also a place to see where other members live that are in a feasible travel distance for one of your own, or that you know of.  Thanks again and continued welcome to all you new folks, as well as the old ones.  Di  akn  Bulldog Lady

Remember this is voluntary, some may not want to participate.  Also if you check the member's folder you will see we have several members who check in once every 5-6 months then go away until time to check in again.... nothing we can do about it... unless we change the rules...
This is why I periodically go through the list and send emails to people who have not logged in in 6 months....

  I understand that this is voluntary, just kinda disappointed that there dont seem to be many if any others up here in the frozen tundra I call home. I dont think it would be right to change the rules on it as  hat would be more like a dictatorship than anything else and would possibly only hurt the forum.  Whats nice about the forum is that we dont have alot of rules and are able to feel free here.
