I was thinking the samething today as i was lurking around the sight. Seems empty around here.

Yes there is a void since Dennis has passed, but that is as always when you loose a friend, and no one can replace them, but if we keep the memory alive
the void will be filled, and a new friend made.
I hope you can understand what I am trying to say,

Agree 100% Harry, the best tribute we can do is to keep this site alive and growing and sharing all the wealth of information and friendship, new friends grow into old friends with the passing of time, and memories last for ever

I kind of wish I had gotten to know him, he seemed like a real character. I have read many of the posts that he started, and there is a sense of humor there that seemed understated, and very funny. It's one of the things that attracted me to this site. I cannot say how valuable some of the information here has been to me, to learn, and explore into this new hobby. I feel that he has left behind an amazing and valuable legacy which will continue to grow and enrich the lives of people like myself just kind of getting started in this whole scene. Sites like this where you can feel comfortable enough to ask questions are rare, where people are freely sharing what they know, and giving constructive feedback that helps...it is priceless. I think from reading between the lines that he wanted to grow and expand this lifestyle to include other people, and attract them into trying it all out, and in that endeavor it seems that he was wildly successful, I just joined up a few months ago, and since then, there have beeen a flood of other new people as well. We all appreciate what he created for us all. THANKYOU for blazing the trail Dryball!

WE all are still in a state of shock over this...  And I still see people who only visit once a month or so seeing the posts and getting the shock.  WE lost a very special person but we will regroup and carry on as he wants us to...

I keep asking myself how can I miss someone I never met, and then I realize I did, Here is where I met him, and laughed with him and enjoyed our shared passion and as long as this site of ours (now I call it ours) continues, so does he, but I still can't get over this feeling of missing him, I can't imagine how all of you that knew him much much better than I feel, My heart aches for all of you.

You all have said the things that I have been feeling lately.  I come on the site and think to myself..."I miss Dennis."  But, as everyone has said, our tribute to him is keeping this site going and teaching others about what was his and is our passion. He can live on through us.  We have to keep the mood up and keep the comments flowing so that we can keep the forum growing and people returning.  We have to do this not only for us, but for Dennis too.  We all loved him.
