O.K. guys and gals, I got a sitchuashon. My personna is a Mex/Tex Trapper along the Brazos River in Texas.  My problem is tryin to figure out what kinda shoes or mocs I can wear.  Time period is 1830's.  I am guessing it would be some type of sandal instead of mocs.  JMHO.  I know about the Mexican "hauraches", but all I can find have a darned rubber tire for a sole.  Don't think this would even be close to PC.  LOL.. Anyway, thanks in advance.

just guessing here but I would think that the "Apache style" thigh high Moc would be appropriate for you.  I saw several pictures and drawings of Apache indians wearing that style.

Kiowa or Comanche boot mocs will work. Can be easily made, go to the moc tutorial and read the whole thing, shows how to make them kind.
