Needed a stand to hold my rifles while paper shooting. Used some scrap 1/2" square and round stock I had in the forge. Also made an open eyelet to hold my range rod. All I need to add is a piece of scrap carpet with a couple of half inch holes and it will be ready for use.
Thanks for looking,
Mike

Nice looking stand, it should do a nice job for you. The ground here is often so hard that they have to be pounded into the ground, so I haven't seen a double leg stand for a while.

The ground can be hard here also. Lots of rocky clay. Two legs cause I didn't want it to trun by accident. Have to hammer the target rack in anyway.

I like. Mine lhave been a single pole split sown the middle about six in. and then hammered into an S or a pair of horse shoes welded on top. I like the ring for the range rode.

I like that.  Will have to get around to making one.

I just noticed the spring you put above the bore protecter on your range rod. I may have to try that myself.

Thanks for the comments. Being somewhat clumsy in my old age, I chose to use two poles. Didn't want to bump the stand, have it spin and dump my rifles on the ground.
