dntn Beautiful Bag, Top Notch, Love the horn. Manzanita??? ???

Rev

Grows as kind of a large bush, very dense, hard wood with a lot of character. The seeds taste a little like apples, hence the name, which translates as "little apple" from the Spanish...

Dryball

I like the bag...what size is it? Would want a better horn though.

Rev

Got lots of horns, thought you were looking for a rougher style. Bag is about 7 x 7, maybe a little larger... How big do you want the horn to be?

Rev

I stand corrected. It is 9 x 9...

Dryball

7X7 Would have been perfect. I would like a smoother horn this time Rev...if you don't have one that's about the right size...I understand...not as much call for smaller horns....or bags.

Rev

As you should know by now, I can make you anything you want. Just tell me what size horn?
Got this bag, it is smaller, about 7 x 9...

Dryball

Something close to this bag....but inside sewn. Preferred softish leather...like Indian made. Horn...about 7" to 8" but of the quality your capable of. Doesn't have to be fancy, just well made and not black. Prefer right side carry for horn. This bag would do....but would want a nice horn...can always find another bag but good horns aren't that easy.

Rev, I've seen ya post some beautifull bags, but I'm partial to the rougher everyday man looking bush bags. Ilike this one, looks like somethin ya not afraid to get dirty.

Rev

Gotta agree with you, but not everyone is going for that look...

Well, if we have a deal I can head out to the shop & make your horn exactly to your specs...

Reckin we do Rev. Want a right side...or either side if can do...horn, 7" to 8", slightly aged look, a bit of scrimshaw if you don't mind....you choose pattern...Indian if possible, and a carrying strap for horn.

Rev

OK I will build it tomorrow.

Rev

OK, here it is... 9" stem to stern, base plug came from the same plank of walnut as the stand but I thinned it considerably to make for a lighter horn.
