Thats what I sent you!   figured you were looking for the 2x12 style.

Let me know if those didnt come across your email and I can resend.

Why don't you post those plans for everybody? I am sure we have some aspiring woodworkers around here someplace... chrrs

Hey Rev & anyone else wondering... there is a room on the site that has all sorts of plans in it...

Thanks again to the generous folks on this site. Saw the plans this morning. It's 8 degrees out and needed sumpin ta do. Found a board and cut one out, put it together and I think that it will be safe at any roundy's I'll attend, not purty but it fits me and WOW the low back feels great sittin in her. Ifn someone needs her more than me I am not out much. It was a fun winter snowday project thanks for postin the plans.

Back in about 1990, my buddy & I made up about 3 dozen of these chairs for the Laguna rondy, near Julian, Ca. We set up camp right at the end of their particularly long & tiring walk thru shoot. We sold every one of those chairs after folks dropped into them after coming off the range! ROFL

Question...

When ya wack the 4' X11/2" hole fer the tail of the seat part do ya does it at an angle... iffin so which angle?

chuckwagonRN

Followed the plans as posted and my low back is happy dntn. No angle on mine, Just a pilot hole to feed the skill saw. The finished chair has about a 45 degree slope. Straight through the plank and the tail is long enough to give the angle. My attempt at wood working is far from craftsmanship, but it does fit me and feels right. My second project for the "Gear".
Thanks for the support and advice to all.
