Here's some North Texas snow from last week.  Not very impressive by Rocky Mountain standards but enough to cause a panic around here.  It fell the night after I got home from the hospital after another shoulder op.  At least I didn't have to go anywhere.

It were sech a good storm,... thought I'd share it wiff the rest of you'ns

beowulf

i`fn you dont like the snow ,I`ll trade with you . we here in south central pa are getting sleet and freezing rain ! snow i can handle ,but I truly hate this stuff !

Red Badger

Hush, you keep that frozen stuff I don't want any of it.  We have been lucky here in the Tulsa area, so far no snow and only a little freezing rain which dissipates as soon as the sun comes up... It has been feeling cold though,  So we should see our first snows preetty soon... As long as we can stay away from the ice storms...

so far so good ! rain and sleet all night ,but the temps have been higher than expected ! most of the crud is melting ,just hope the temps dont drop to much tonight !

Beowulf,
I remember those ice storms from my 16 years in southern York county. I shoveled 4" of sleet from the driveway one time. Since I was working in Baltimore, the commute got a little hairy.

Winter of '94-'95 I think we had an ICE Storm, I was in So. Md. (due North of Piney Point across the creek), an had 8" of ice ta knock off the hood of my truck. Started on a Thursday afternoon ended some time Fri. Zero elect, water, whatever fer 10 days. Stayed warm with the Wood stove. used it fer cookin as well.
By the time I could get out (Monday), It looked like 'Arclight' had gone thru what with all of the downed trees...
