well my nick name is already part of my name but I can tell you how I got it.....I work construction and of course everybody has to have a nickname right?! Well I started crowing like a rooster one day at work ( I use it as a turkey locator when I turkey hunt) and from that day on I was known to everybody on the job sight as rooster.

Smokin_Gun

At my first voo, because the people I voo with are mean and evil, my camp was pulled and turned 180 degrees, so the name "Wrong Way" was bestowed upon me.

More years ago than I care to remember, the club I belonged just elected me chairman of the muzzleloading group and we booked a bunch of rooms for the Kalamazoo gun show. Around dinner time on friday night, we were all milling around the lobby trying to decide where to eat. I got tired of waiting  so I headed out the door and into my truck. Down the road I go with everyone following me like I know where I'm going. I've never been to k-zoo before so I had no clue where I was going. After heading out of town for about 15 miles, the choices and civilization were really getting thin. In the distance was a single light that you would expect to be a diner. It wasn't. It was a small engine repair shop. We[all 20 vehicles] turned around and ended up at the restaurant right next to the hotel! Whenever I went to the salad bar, someone always left a trail of crumbs behind me so I could find my way back. It's a name I use all the time. Most folks don't know who Ted is, but know Pathfinder. I also get lost in the woods on a regular basis,no matter how many times I hunt the same piece of land! hdslp

Captain Midnight

Once upon a time I worked as an electrical lineman...when I would climb utility poles in my hooks and gaffs, I climbed with such an erect posture that the other linemen joked that I looked like a stick bug climbing a tree. Ever since that time I have been called "Stick".  ;D

Beau48

Was called Bodine ever since I was a wee lad so changed it to Beau since I am older, added the age, never did like Bo, to much resemblance to body odor, lol.

hungryjohn

Ain't got a nickname yet. But I'm sure somebody will lay one on me before long.

beowulf

well ,I have silver hair and green eyes ,and tend to growl when angry . so a couple of kids I work with hung the title ,werewolf of mcsherrystown ,on me . that got twisted by a buddie whos into native american mythology , so he hung skinwalker, on me that being a navajo witch who can shape shift ! not a good thing , but what the heck ! so I`ve been skinwalker for the last 14 years !

aka-kesler

I've always had a problem with authority so I was dubbed Outlaw a long time ago . Since then I have changed my wayward ways but the name stuck. So I put a twist on my call name Aka-Kesler Because as all know an Outlaw also will have another alias hdslp

Red Badger

Well I suppose i had better let ya all in on how I got my name too....

Way back in the olden days... I was a young Air Force Cop, and had a tendency to be a speed demon.  I was either jamming my foot through the floorboards in govnment trucks or twisting the throttle on my motorcycle so someone started to call me Jammin Jim, when I deployed to a classified location as has been describe elswhere her we used call signs and mine was Jammin Jim, was shortened for a while to JJ but when JJ Walker made the name popular the rednecks I was with went back to Jammin Jim... and the rest is history...

Have also been known as "KBKY 6738 the Sundance Kid" and "KBZ0438 The gunslinger"

   1 CB call sign
   2 Ham call sign  ucrzy

Red Badger

Right the first guess... CB call signs from way back when you needed them....

ham Call sign was K7GAM - kissing 7 Girls All Mine before the Fed's and i had a little set to for me being in England when my ticket expired and the banned me from radio for 10 years...
