I shoot either a Bondini .54 Hawken pistol or a modified CVA Mountain Pistol.  The CVA has had a Pedersoli single set trigger added.  Both shoot a lot better than the operator.

Don't feel bad... there are a lot of us here who can make that claim.....

hntr Got this flint .50 pistol & hits a beaut.  My only one, though.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

I only Have a confederate six-gun which I used for civil war re-enactments and its a cheapie but shoots decent but I should shoot it more to actually say how accurate it is. But I'm up for a postal ifn you decide to have one ,gives me an excuse to burn some powder and handle the gun a little more!!!

For a single shot I have a few, but like the Lyman plains pistole, it is hard to beat, I changed the sights though.  Put on a set of GPR sights, they are taller but I can see them better.  Came in .54 cal but bought an extra .50 barrel to go with it.  Can inter change in 60 seconds.  Revolver is a nother mater, I have traded with DB so many times I don't even know what I own any more.  I like them all and don't have a favorite.

Prefer the revolver, cause very few single shots feel right in my hand unless they had the "saw handle" shape, and only ones of those i have seen are high end duelers. out of my price range.

like the reliability of the remington, but the 1860 & 1862 colts feel right in the hand.

currently own 3 Horses, a .36 cal Pony 1851, a .44 cal Filly 1860, and a .45 LC Mustang 1873. , am making a trade for another 1860, and a 1862 . Welcome to the family...
