My Brittany's Gonna Have Puppies!

Yaaa Hooo!

Finally they locked up taday and we get ta keep him (Max) till next Sunday.

Gestation is around 63 days "AND" if we're lucky, in 63 days we will have "4th of July" puppies!!!!!

Her last litter was born ON Christmas Day!!!

good looking brits you got del. what blood lines? me and my dad used to raise american brits then moved over to french brits. still got a couple buddies in the american dogs.

I love Brittanys. They are so easy going and such a timid dog, you have to watch how you even talk to them. I've had German Shorthair Pointers and these Brittanys are a LOT less hard headed...lol

Not sure about what you mean "blood lines". I got her (KC) from Jim at Grouse Heaven Kennels in NY. Jim drove her right to my door here in ND. She was pick of the litter and she's pretty small, only 18" at the whithers. She has a lot of AFC NFC and other champions in her lines. There are 3 champoin dogs that were used in her blood line more than once in the past 5 generations. She's one he!! of a hunter and can smell birds while driving down the road at 35mph. I've proven that with partrage. On her first hunt at 6 months old, she helped us get 7 pheasants, 3 grouse and 2 partrage and pointed out every one.

This is her second hunt.



The guy (Max) is on loan from a friend here in ND. He's a really good lookin' dog and a real hunter as well. I still need to get a copy of his papers so I can register the litter when they come. He came from a breeder here in SE North Dakota. Not sure of the name but my friend says he has some really good dogs. I guess he quit breeding now. That's why my friend wants one of his dogs pups. They should be some really good hunters judging by the parents. Shouldn't have any problem getting $400 for males and $500 for females.

Yep, had dogs all my life and I've never had a better all around dog let alone a better hunter....

Del --Nice looking little dogs.. Sure is nice to hunt over a good dog..Friend of mine brings his down every year for bird hunting.  Good luck with your pups..
