My favorite is the one I'm listening at this time.  :D  97.1 FM, Country Legends out of Houston, Texas.  They play Country and Western from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.  Matter of fact you can listen to them on the web.  http://countrylegends971.com/

WEBN, out of Cincinnati. Rock and roll ranging from Led Zeppelin to Metallica to Three Doors Down. When I used to work 3rd shift it was a given that, for the twenty or so minutes devoted each night to the 11 p.m. "mandatory Metallica" feature, I wouldn't be doing much outside listening range of a radio.

I would listen to more country, but aside from one station that plays the old twa-a-a-a-ang country, the country stations I can get on my truck radio have apparently never heard of Waylon Jennings or Johnny Cash. WEBN plays more Johnny Cash than any country station I've found! It's all purely top-40. Not that top-40 country is so bad, but a lot of the older stuff was so much better.

Mongrel If you like the real country and western try the station I posted.  You can listen to it while you post on here. :) Patsy Cline, Willie, Johnny Horton, Micky Gillie, Ronnie Milsap, Jim Reeves, Don Williams, Marty Robbins, Janie Frickie, Barbara Mandell, and on and on and on 24/7.  :D

because you said "radio listening" I'd have to say NPR, yes I'm a paid member of National Public Radio. couldn't hardly live without it, well, OK I could LIVE without it, but I'm not sure I could DRIVE without it.

like all kinds of music though, yeah country's good, alternative 90's music, 80's too. like most all, lately it's been Cake and the Killers for some reason.

Now I know what my Mom must have thought about us during the 50's with our Rock and Roll. :D  At least most of our bands and combos had plesant sounding names.  Like Little Richard, The Diamonds, The Platters, Bill Haley and the Comets. Spike Jones and his City Slickers, The Beach Boys just to mention a few.
