Thanks to Roaring bull-powda horn in the makins

Thanks to a trade with Roaring bull on a horn that he had listed in the trade forum, I now have this powda horn in progress. I first drilled out the plastic in the tip. What do you know! Perfect hole size for this brass spout from TOTW. Ah-ha. I then made a base plug from some 3/4 pine board. Epoxied both in place. I also used a cabinet scraper to take off the orignal finish and did a little file work on the horn to get a flush fit with the brass spout.

Just letting the epoxy cure now.

Didn't do any work on the horn yesterday. I may get to it today.

Horn has progressed into the sealing stage. Brass brads around the base and engraved. Twisted nail staple. Spout grooved for the strap.

Thanks Ranger. The fellow that was recipient of this horn is one of our newest members " yoteslayer".  He has been doing some work on a possibles bag. Hopefully he will post some pics of it.

Hey I know that horn, It got used today while I was  blasting up a target!! it works great, thank you very much my bro! you'll have a little somthin tuesday as a thank you!  and as soon as i can get a cd made up i'll post up some pics of that poss.bag i've been working on,plus some other stuff!!  jim
