Bad Luck

I am having a terrible time with buying books from people on muzzleloading forums.  Several months ago I sent a money order for a book, The Hornets Nest, by President Jimmy Carter.  The seller acknowledged receiving the money order and said that the book was shipped.  After about a month I contacted him and he told me that he would refund my money.  After waiting another month or so on the book I contacted him again and said that if he didn't mind to send the refund.  No problem refund was in the mail still today no book or refund.  It seems strange to me that a book and a refund shipped from one person to another from another person and sent a money order. 

In December I ordered the Silsby's book on horn building from another person.  January 17 no book and since then no contact from this individual no matter how many times I try to contact them.

I may be short tempered but I am getting tired of purchase being a one way deal with me paying and not ever receiving.

If a usps money order go to the post office and you will get your funds back after a little wait . Id let the persons handle be known on the feedback so nobody else got snookered .

Thats why when I sell something on any forum, I urge the buyer to not only pay for insurance, but I include the price of delivery confirmation, when i ship the item, i supply the buyer with the confirmation# so he can track pkg also. Hope it wasnt anybody on here or the TMA

The latest one the bok on hornes was with "flintlock1964@yahoo.com".  If this person will send the book or a refund I will publicly apologize.

i searched my site, and no email from that person. sorry. also i'm in southern california, ned is in central

I think he was referring to Claude's site.  There is someone of that email address listed as a member there.
