DAMMITT!!!!!!!    Somebody post SOMETHING!!  Even if it's just your last water bill; JUST POST!  I'm losing my voice so hurry up!

How come no one is listening?

Only YOU can save this site.

Please, please say something.......!!!

I don't know, literal weeks without a single post. Maybe it's time to back the truck in, load up what's left and call it a day.   [hmm]  I personally am devastated over this. When I think of how much activity this forum had when I joined 12 years ago compared with the present time, it just makes me sad.   :'(  The frustrating part is not knowing the reason why. Yes, many members have ridden the black camel out of this life, but many have also joined up in their place. What has changed? Black powder shooting is still the most fun you can have with your clothes on. There is still unfettered access to muzzleloaders which don't have all those pesky laws and regulations to deal with. Black powder shooters and re-enactors are some of the nicest folks you will ever meet.

Maybe it is time to pack it in and call it a day. It's not fair to have Bigfoot to keep underwriting this site when there is virtually no activity, and it is depressing to see Dryball's creation languishing.
I (and I'm sure Hanshi is with me on this) feel like Slim Pickens in Dr. Strangelove, riding that nuke to the ground.

I could not agree more with what hotfxr posted!  I'm with him 100% on this.  It simply takes such a tiny bit of time and energy to press just a few letters on one's keyboard, especially when doing that strengthens the site.

I'm on several related forums even after the demise of some of them.  Like many of you I don't have the "covid-era" time to spend in front of the screen.  But, HEY!  Ten minutes twice a week isn't asking for much but it will mean "much" for our forum.

ME?  I'm going to follow hotfxr and when his disgust forces him to "bug out" I'll be close behind him.

I attribute the lethargy to a side effect of an experimental injectable cesspool effluent.

[hmm]Hmmm... I don't really think so.  I've been living in a world of that stuff since birth, and although frequently wounded I keep clawing.  chrrs

After the sight went away a couple of times post COVID I think most people gave up on it. I stayed with it until recently, but with nothing being posted I quit checking as often and with the new computer using Windows 11 I have trouble getting on.
I will be around but we need people who post stuff or ask questions so some of us "OLD TIMERS" have a better reason to post than just to ask "WHERE IS EVERYBODY."

So while sitting with my feet in the river and watching grandkids, I picked up a couple of interesting looking pieces of flint.  I tried banging them together to see if I could knock off a flake or two. They made a really interesting noise, and when I banged them together rapidly they sounded like tree frogs after a rain.  In a few minutes I had tree frogs answering back.  The grandkids thought it was hilarious.  I thought it was most unexpected.

Don't I live an exciting life?

Yes we need to be more proactive and not just ask why people are not posting... give them a reason to post.  I can't get out to Rondy anymore but I still have the beadwork Di (Lone Wolf woman) got started on and I work with every now and then and some leather working and other crafts that fall under the umbrella of the hobby so we can start talking about things like this. I have gotten lax this year and New Years day and 4th of July my canon roared, but I can't show it here because I was not in appropriate attire.  I will correct this and see if I can get into Rendezvous dud's next time I fire the canon.  Lets work on giving the site a new coat of paint and making it sparkle again.

Stop dragging your feet and whining!  I find that pitiful.
