Bown 50 cal.

Now those two are nice, even IF built backerds (Southern for "backwards).
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

William, I had a really nice TVM E Va. rifle some years back that took its share of bambies.  Best shooting offhand rifle I've owned.  I was eventually forced to sell it and replace it with a lighter version.  Worsening arthritis made it very difficult to hold up.  It made one of the longest shots on deer I ever made.  Those two rifles you have are real "head turners".

My only Mongrel creation, a sweet little .45.

But here is the most reliable and viscious deer killer I have (sadly gone now).

Posted previously but here's my 4th .45.  It was originally a .40 but recently had the barrel bored out to .45; I love this rifle!  It will get used.

I would like to see a close up on how you attached the sling please.

The TC Renegade .54 is what I will normally grab first for hunting but I'm thinking that I might put the Green mountain .58 barrel on it to use this year, or maybe take the Zuave musket out, but actually the Zuave trigger is awful so I know that I won''t hunt with it unless I can get the trigger lightened.
Picture will need to be a separate post because I don't have one on the computer but I can post one from the cell phone.

1) flint 50
2) Zouave
3) TC Renegade with. 58 GM barrel
4) original. 54 barrel
Not shown: .32 barrel

It took several tries, but maybe it is resized small enough to post this time.

TWO DEARS!  Were they "hotties"?  Did you know them?  (susp)

My squeeze hit a buck with my truck long ago in Georgia which rendered it undrivable.  The buck, God bless him, got up and ran off.  :applause:
