Purchased some wood at a great price from Allen Martin. Plain maple for a full stock Leman trade rifle and a nice medium curl maple for a restocking of a CVA Kentucky. I plan on the using the curly on for a flintlock and I'll use a plain maple I got from Mongrel for my percussion 45 Kentucky's, both will have new LR Manton locks to replace the originals. .......did I mention I got the building bug!  hdslp

I bet the grain will really "pop out" on that flintlock stock.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.
