For a long time I've wanted a Kibler .45 SMR kit.  Barring an unexpected endowment this looks to be a pipe dream.  I remember the reaction from my wife the last time I bought a gun.

I had a Thompson legal semi-auto copy of the Model 27 SMG with a 50 round drum. About 10 years ago I traded it in at the LGS for a semi-auto shotgun, a scope and some shotgun shells.
I saw one today for sale for $1750. Thankfully, my wife is ignorant of gun values and prices .... as am I apparently.
