Oct. 10--Fifth day of misery.. Second day at Portland burn center. Long surgery for complete new skin on right arm.  I think I may be in more pain than Jim.  Last week Ther. told me two years and then more grafts.  Met with burn Dr. He seems to think maybe sooner as I am tearing a hole under my arm in the scar tissue.  Two new tears on back of arm since then.  Hurts to move arm, but if I ever want it to work right, I have to move and stretch new skin and scars.  The good news---kept my mind off my cancer for a whole month.

Oh, man!  You are in a world of hurt, my friend.  My best wishes for a great recovery.  Pain, I know well.  May your pain be lessened and be of short duration.

I am sorry to hear that Doug-

Things are going ok for me - There will always be pain but that is a reminder that I am still kicking... Latest issue is a cyatic nerve that wants to remind me I am still healing...
