Time to bring this one out and dust it off. Where has the time gone?

Red Badger

Don't know where the time goes...

This year I am doing something different - with no Student Veterans Association at the College Campus I am attending (not for lack of trying to start one), I and the Student government are putting a table up near the Library with a stack of thank you cards for students to fill out.  We will then take the cards to The Veterans home near here and have the staff pass them out to vets.  The Student Government has also pledged to go to the home once a month  to help outwith activities for the vets at the home...

They've had me back out working this last week or I would have dusted this off sooner.

Thanks to all who have served!   I challenge each of you who can to invest some time at a local school next year to tell them about the military.  The schools themselves don't have the resources, but if you contact the principle they will usually do some sort of program for you to tell the students how important our service was and still is.... All it takes is for the veterans to make a call offering their services tot he school...
