I had planned on going home for a week and visiting and shooting with my Dad and brother and all, see my Grandmother (Mamaw-Dad's Mom-not doing too good) and Grandfather (Papaw-Mom's Dad-doing a little better) but we got a change of plans today.  Jackie's brother is in the Army and in Korea for 3 years (just got there about a month ago) and they haven't been able to sell there house in Colorado Springs, CO.  My father-in-law is a disabled vet that is fairly sick and has to go to the VA about every day, about a 55 to 65 mile trip one way, mom-in-law gotta drive it all he can't.  Plus, the old house they live in is about to fall down.  We have no room for them, Jackie's younger sis and b-in-l are both TOTALLY USELESS, Matt & co are in Korea, so they are moving to Colorado Springs this summer and we get to help them move.  My wife is upset because its 16 hrs away from here, but glad that they are getting a really nice house and will be within a 10 mile drive to the VA and Army and Air Force hospitals and on-base shopping all of that good stuff.  I'll miss both of them, but know its for the best.  But now I get to drive a U-Haul to Colorado Springs for my summer vacation.

So, my question is: are there any good BP-related stops to make that anyone knows of between Dallas, TX and Colorado Springs, CO?

And what, if any, are your summer vacation plans?

Sorry I can't help you,,

But you can check out the yellow pages and look up Gun Shops and Pawn shops..

There should be a list of them in the book...
It's not what tool you use to hunt with.
It's that you use the tool Legally and Ethically

I think there's a Colorado Springs Muzzleloader group I may get ahold of, see if I can shoot in the mountain air once.

I'm goin to the Eastern Primitive Rendevous the end of September. It's only about 20minutes from my house this year, but, it's 200 years back!
