I normally build a gun that appeals to me but if someone likes it I may sell it to help finance my next build. I'm just finished build # 14, which is my first custom build for a customer. He requested a American built fowler in the French style w/ a mix of French and English parts. Walnut stock, 44 in. .62 oct/rd. Bbl. it weighs in at 6 lbs.

I like that . very close to my old centermark fusil . I like the french style guns , to be honest I like the english style just as much ! guess I`m not hard to please ! but, you did a heck of a job! thmbsup

Real nice job.  But don't get to into custom work, then it turns into a job. Maybe someday when things slow down, I can even try a nice flint fowler for something to fill in my spare time.

Thanks everyone, Doug I agree on taking orders. I only took this build on as a favor to my mentor and his customer. I enjoy building what appeals to me and if I want to sell one I'll offer it for sale. I will never say never...but for now it's back to building what I want when I want.  ;D

nothing worse than having a hobby turn into a job !   but , you do excellent work , could see it as a now and then thing to bring in a little extra income !
