/well, this is like AZ, nothing much going on. I am a member of the shoots alone club, one member. After trying to get involved in AZ, gave up. Nothing in the high country going on, so I decided to pack it in and so my club is called, SHOOTS ALONE, and I do enjoy it, few if any rules, and I do most of it in the white mountains of north east Arizona.

I had been looking for Arizona rendezvous activities, and couldn't find anything much, then all of a sudden, after the first of the year, I find a whole lot of stuff going on. It's been great learning and making new friends.

On Saturday, the 30th of January 2016 five of us met at camp verde and had a really fun shoot, two fellows from flagstaff, one From Tucson, one from Tempe, and one from Cornville, near Camp Verde. We had a lot of fun and everyone I met is now a friend, great guys. As the one new comer, I was able to learn a lot. Nothing like being able to learn from the old h,ands at this. It was called, IRISH MICK'S FRONTIER MUZZLELOADER SHOOT, and poor old Mick was called away for an emergency so was undable to be there.  All I know is I had a blast.

That my friend is what it's all about. I have met very few uppity, better than you types in the pursuit of our cherished hobby. Don't get me wrong, they are out there and causing as much angst as they can, but fortunately there aren't many of them.

B.  glad you met some of the guys... I worked that day in Needles.  As of today I am once again working out of Winslow and living in Flag. (still have to drive up the hill in the AM) , but for at least a Month and probably 2 I will be back in AZ more than I'm gone.  Maybe we can meet in person.  For sure though,  I will be at Ben Avery from the first through the 7th for the winter shoot.  I have your # in my phone and will give you a call and my camp site #.  Looking forward to seeing you down there...

Would be fun to meet and visit. Since the Camp Verde shoot I've learned a lot and now know who and where to go to access info on AZ Rondys. The Bouse rondy is the 19th and I'll be there also. I was getting discouraged, but it's all falling  into place now and I'm sure looking forward to some good fun.
