Big bore shoot

I've finished an English 8 bore (.829) rifle.  Yesterday I took her to range for a shake down before mailing it off.
I shot 150 gr 2fg .020 patched .810 ball.  At 20 yd. bench it gave a 3 shot cloverleaf group.
Recoil not as bad as expected, nothing like a .375 H&H or even a .338

That's quite a squirrel rifle. Can't hit the squirrel, take down the tree. Very nicely done Tom.

That is a beast! I love it, nice job except you got the engraved name spelled wrong. It's H O T F, well you get the picture.  ROFL

Carrying a 14 lb. rifle would be a chore but welcome when shooting time started.

Is a commercial .810 mold available? I've never looked for one.  ;D
