I wasn't sure if this would go here or in gun smithing, but I have myself a traditions crockett rifle, and while I love it, the darn thing shoots too high, so I ordered a new higher front sight blade for it, but when I finally got around to putting it on, I realized it the blade isn't straight up and down, it leans to the left a bit, so what would be the best way to straighten it out? I haven't actually put it on yet, it is still separate from the rifle.

one piece sight , or is the blade and base two separate pieces  ? I`ve set the blade in a small vice and tapped the base gently a couple of times when I`ve had this problem . works if you`re careful !

I'll have to dig it out and check, but i believe its two pieces of metal, but they are fixed together

If you have a two piece front sight, be very careful if you try to bend it straight. They will come apart very easily even if the are soldered and/or peened.
