Well, new here anyway, actually I'm an ole fart.  (61)
I figger I'd best confess my sins..
I've had a relapse,
I was into BP many, MANY  moons ago, got away from it fer 'bout '40 years...and
had a relapse about a year ago..and no signs of it going away..
So, right now I've got a renewed enthusiasm and am enjoying myself immensely. !
I think I might kinda fit in some, if the 'cheap' is appropriate.

BTW..The only gun I managed to hang on to for the past 38? years is a
Hopkins and Allen MINUTEMAN .36 flint...kit...$94 in 1970..
I was working on it when I brought my first baby home...a Son..I remember my
newborn son laying on the couch beside while I was sanding the stock..
Still got the rifle, an' that baby boy is now running a computer' thing' in
St. Petersburg....RUSSIA....!
Who'd a thunk it !
HMMM.. ain't shot it in 10 years or so.
My son is supposed to be visiting in a couple of weeks, maybe I'll let him shoot it.

OK.. done rambling..

Welcome to the camp, sir!  We are really glad to have you.  Yep, cheap is the name of the game!  We are here to help in any way we can.  Feel free to post and read and have a ball here!  We have a nice family growing here.  And now you are part of it.

Welcome Razor, age is not important here.  We have members on both ends of the scale, in the teens to well past yourn age.  The main thing is the sport.  Most that have shot black powder are hooked for life.  Some leave it for a while but return in time, it's in their blood.

Hello from another ole phart.  I too had my first kids in 1970. Now we should have time to enjoy and try to catch up on things we wanted to do for the last 40 years.

Razor

Thanks for warm welcome fellers...It IS appreciated.

Quoteit's in their blood.

That ain't the only place !
My wife hates for me to clean my BP in the house.
Last week, I had passed a little gas on my way thru.(no guns)
The wife gets a whiff, then accused me of dragging my dirty BP guns in again ;D
