I'm going to set up a station camp near Caro, Mich for the November Deer hunt.

I'll have my 12X15 dining fly set up with a fire pit and an "out house". I'll be staying in my Trapper tent, and I can set up my 12X12 one pole for any one who needs a tent.

I'd like this to be as primitive as is possible.

Any interest?

Living in the UP and coming down here to hunt? 'shok'  Must mean our deer and bigger and more tasty, eh??  blah

I used to go up around Alpena and never found the deer to rival the Buckey Bucks that we have down here. But the area was really nice.

Nope,I'm living in Port Austinfull time now. Wife retired from her hospital job so we decided to come down to the paid off house!

I'll be set up anyway if anyone wants to stop by.

Shoulda been here! The Deer were like mice! Was able to choose a doe that yielded 75# of boneless meat!

Got her with my Bess. About 60 paces and the .745 ball over 90grs of 2f went right through.

And from what I understand here in Huron Co, Mich, doe season goes through till Jan 1st.

Plenty of time to still meet up here!
