Hi there,

Jakes here, thanks for welcoming me on board! A bit about myself- I grew up in South Africa, moved to Ottawa from the UK earlier this year. I'm a dental tech. by profession, so that pays for powder and balls.

I first tried muzzleloading in the UK, and absolutely loved it, so here I am. I currently lean towards flintlocks, but I'll see what comes my way...

As far as modern firearms go I am or have been active in IPSC, PPC, F-Class, skeet and sporting.

And I have a Vizsla...
