I recently bought some of Graf & Sons label reenactor powder. I got it because it is cheap and I am always bargain hunting.
I tried it out at my 25 yard range with .45 cal Pedersoli flintlock. I used a 440 ball and 50 gr of powder. I had a rest. I am not the best shot but I am pleased with the powder. There was lot of fowling and took a while to clean up.

I like Graf and son's products also. Not too bad shooting there ether. How strong of a grip are you using on your weapon, how hard is your trigger? Tightening your grip while squeezing the trigger is a usual suspect for the low left shot placement. Thumbing (squeezing thumb) and too much trigger finger for the left shot placement. Sorry, I was a Marine for way too long!LOL thmbsup

Red,
Thanks for the coaches eye. Small mistakes make for big misses.
In a review of the reenactor's powder: it is multi-grandulated. It has some dust. I had no problem in it use in a flintlock. It touched off easily.
