Well, I just got back from seeing my urologist as well as my PCP and I've got a raging infection.  He wanted to admit me into the hospital for IV antibiotics as my fever was 103 at the time, but by the time I got over to my PCP it had dropped to 100.3.  I got away with just an injection and a prescription but I'm having to take another week off from work next week.  The stint remains in place.......

Just to follow-up on all this.  I ended up getting a second infection at the beginning of February and my doctor's staff just about did everything they could to foul up any and all relief I was seeking from the doctor himself.  The stint was finally removed after being in place 5 painful weeks and virtually no effort was made by the medical staff to inform the doctor of my condition.  Even after the major accident I was in aggravated my condition the staff refused to forward my information to the doctor and he wouldn't see me during a scheduled appointment. Needless to say I have found another urologist much closer to home and have requested all my medical records be forwarded.

Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes, it helped me a great deal.

You are really having a time of it.To quote my doctor there is no such thing as minor surgery,I am convinced he was right.I think I would be talking to an attorney if I had half your experience and I am far from being prone to lawsuits.Hopefully your new urologist will be an improvement.I will keep you in my Prayers.

I think that my original request for prayers and support has been satisfied and my latest response was getting off topic as well as somewhat inappropriate for the prayer chapel.  Thus I have modified my response accordingly and thank you all again for everything.
