I wanted a traditional type rifle scabbard for my Souther Mountain Rifles, I had some buckskin type leather, its really cow but feels an looks like buckskin, I had a big piece for making moccersins an tobacco bags an such, so looked at some on line an came up with this

I started it yesterday an finished it up today, it fits both my 42" barreled southern mountain rifles, now it just needs a little beading an some cones, but that can wait for now, its a work in progress, but serves its purpose now. I need some more of that leather as its great for all kinds of projects.
