I was driving past a yard sale and noticed a row of old purses hanging on a picket fence, there was 12 of them and I was given the price of .25 cents each.  I bought them all for $3.  I've made pouches out of some of them and one turned out to be a WW2 Nazi calvary officers bag with swasticas and the whole bit. I sold it for $125 but that's another story. here are 4 bags with cheap but excellent horns and knives that I made. They are each for use with a particular gun, a .32, a .40, a 20 ga. and a 12 ga. I'll see if I can also post an open pic.  Hank

Here's the open pic. I put my patch knife under the flap on all my bags, easy for me to reach and to replace.  Hank

Amazing what you can find when you look around.
Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

Man those are sweet!  just goes to show what a little thinking can come to,  really like the way you hid a small knife under the flap.  Can I borrow that idea???...........Tom

Hank12

Tom, you bet and don't forget to check out your wifes purses, you might find a nice shooting bad among them  ;D.  You ever get up to the ANAZAZI rondy near St. George, lots of shooters from Vegas come to that one? Hank.

nice work there . I did the same thing way back when I got my first flinchlock rifle  ;D lot of good leather out there to be had for next to nothing , and with some of the bags not much work needed to convert them ! that`s what recycling is all about !

Tom, nope, I haven't been to yours. I get a flyer sometime about it but so far haven't made it down there, maybe next yr.  Hank

Thanks pards for the compliments, Hank
