Turkey shoot

This last Saturday the Chelohan Free Trappers had our annual turkey shoot in Othello Wa. We had about 20
people turn out and had a great time. My wife was shooting her .50 Shenandoah because she hadn't had a
chance to shoot the new Mongrel Frankenstein I had bought her yet. When we thought the shoot was over,
she got out the new rifle and loaded up with the idea of seeing how it shot. At this point Ralph (our host)
announced one more target.  The target was one of those with a bad guy holding a hostage and limited exposure.
Well, it was already loaded, so she had to shoot it. Ups with the rifle and gets him in the left cheek, right below
the eye! I'd say she was pretty pleased with both the rifle and her shot. Thanks a million Mike! I think she loves it.
Oh, and yours truly won a ham. It will be on the menu later this week.
