Some minor surgery tomorrow

A routine checkup and x-ray revealed two marble sized kidney stones that are getting removed via lithotripsy (sound waves) tomorrow, so if y'all could keep me in your thoughts I would appreciate it.  I'm not having much discomfort right now and I will be under general anesthetic for the procedure but my doc is making me take three days off of work and I am really hoping that I will be feeling 100% by lunch tomorrow.

Thanks for all the support.  I am home again with some minor pain but I am glad that I took the rest of the week off as I'm generally weak all over and pretty much slept off and one all day.  The doc can only give a patient a certain amount of sound energy at one time so by the time they got the largest stone broken up I'd reached the limit, so we're just going to keep an eye on it for now and schedule another treatment in the future.

Just got back from the ER after a brief 5 hour visit.    Either the doc knocked the smaller stone loose from it's moorings or I didn't pass all the pulverized stuff from the first stone when I woke up on Tuesday.  Either way, something got plugged up and I was in screamin' pain   starting at about 4:30 yesterday afternoon.  So, after the time change I am headed to bed here at 6:45am.

What a waste of a perfectly good weekend!  On my way to the pharmacy to fill an anti-biotic in case I've got an infection.   I appreciate the well wishes from everyone too.

Thank you Two Bears, I'm home from work again today and keep having some very minor pain in the same spot but nothing as severe as Saturday night/Sunday morning.
