These are some of the things I have made. I know I have a lot learn before I can call myself a blacksmith, but I thought I would let you in on the learning proses.

very nice old salt.  i noticed that you have an oper air smithy.  Just a suggestion, but have you thought about building  a shop to house your tools etc?  Maybe an adirondack style shop.  Open on one side with open air windows in the three remaining sides, and a chimney with a collector hood about the forge.  This wil atleast help protect your tools and forge, and allow you to spend more time at the forge, during periods of rain and snow    The anvil and other items look rusted.  just my 2cents.

Granddaughter saw the fire tripod I made the other day and decided that she had to have one herself and her dolls.

Looks like a nice little setup you have going there.  I am trying to devise something similar as I don't have a shop to put my forge in..when I build one.  I will probably have to throw up a little fence around mine, to keep the youngest one away when he is outside playing.  Been a long time since I have done any welding, but two of my brothers are welders and I have a feeling they may come in handy pretty soon....

Those are really neat knives. I hope I can make knives out of railroad ties that nice. Hopefully we can get a blacksmith setup soon.

      Your doing great. A little shade would be a great help in reading your colors also. The steel in those spikes work up real well. LOOKIN GOOD !!
