As a current active duty guy, I thank you. I also want to thank my father (Vietnam) and my deceased grandfather (WWII) for their service and example. However, none of this would be possible without the support and love of those spouses and children who wait at home.

I hope all our veteran members had a great day!  I applogize for being late on this post, but Thursday I was busy with setting up our american legion post for our Veterans day activities, which included feeding about 1,000 people after taking part in the Tulsa Veterans Day Parade as part of the Post Honor Guard. I ended up spending the entire night at the post helping a team of our members to smoke over 350 lbs of pork for the dinner, then being in the Parade, keeping people fed and cleaning up after the days activities.  I got home last night about 7 and went straight to bed.
