Dogshirt I don't know of any other word to use other than "role model". This is the term used by all. If you have a better term, please let me know, I would like to use it. Thank you. Take care...

That was a quote from someone above me. Role model is fine in my book.

Mongrel. I think you are right on with your post. I respect your opinion & your last paragraph was the best. Thank you for your words of wisdom. Take care...

Dogshirt. I did know that you were OK with the term "role model". I have also been following your post in the past & believe that you have a good head on your shoulders. Figured that you could give me your thoughts on this. Was just asking for your input. I am kinda' new here on Traditional Muzzleloading on the Cheep and have learned who are knowledgeable in this sport and I appreciate the willingness of so many to help others. Been shooting muzzleloaders since 1969 and love it. It is because of our respect and love of the sport that we will have a chance to see it continue with the younger croud. Many thanks to all of you. Take care...

Well, I would say that there are certain individuals that transcend "role model" and achieve the status of "Paragon".
These are the people that, at the least, give us such high standards to live by, that it challanges the rest of us to the extreme,
to live up to. James and the other aforementioned individuals have, in MY mind, have acheived this status. And it
is up to us to try and follow the standard they carry before us.
