Well here's why I've been missing Old Salt and I got the bright idea that not only are we blacksmith but we are blade Smith's as well not so sure this was a great idea but anyway was gonna share a few pictures of what we've been working on a these are in stages of completion the Roach belly is the closest been completed the others well we're using 19Th century technology in the 21st century with two half blacksmiths you get what you get.  But I'm still have a ball with them I think in the end will have some very high quality high carbon knives.  I would welcome any constructive criticism please feel free to let me know what you think. These knives started out as ¾ ton trucks springs and have been handwork from 1/2 inch by 3 inches to roughly 3/16 by 8 1/4 to about 10 1/2 inches.

great job, kinda neo tribal methods ie 19th century technolgy.  I enjoy making knives this way,a hammer, coal forge and a couple of files a little pine pitch for glue you get the picture any way I like em keep up great work.    just my 2 cents worth
