Here are some pics of me & Flintboomer shooting this week. The weather was perfect! Only downside was there was no Bighorn sheep audience to cheer us on this time  flwa

I have pics of us shooting, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to attach them. Is there anyone I can email them to, that can post them for me? Thanks.

DEADDAWG

Send them to me Glenn, I'll get them posted.

Go up to the new members area and look at the post in there.  One of them deals with pictures.

I prefer to use photobucket or one of the other sights like it to put large amounts of pictures or videos on the sites... Our site does have a maximum size issue that we need to watch out for...

I was using an Italian replica of an 1863 Remington "Zouave" 58 cal rifle-musket and I think there is a pic of me with my CVA Hawken that was given to me as a botched kit gun that I saved. Flintboomer had a Pedersoli Frontier with a shortened barrel and a Hawken type rifle with a Sharon barrel. I think he was shooting 50 and 54 calibers, though I know he also has a 40 cal barrel for it too, just can't remember if he had it that day.

When I tried to post the pics they wouldn't post because the file was too large.

Even without pictures, getting together with someone from the forum that I had never met and would never have met any other way was great! We will be hunting together this fall.

The rifle in the pictures except the one of Sherpa and I is a TC Hawken with a .54 Sharon barrel and the flinter I have in that picture is a .50 Pedersoli Frontier/Cabelas Blue Ridge with the barrel shortened to 32 inches and the sights replaced. There was a .40 GM barrel for the Hawken in the car along with a TC Renegade with a .58 GM barrel that were available if I decided to shoot them. The Hawken also has a .45 flint conversion that was not in the car.

Too many toys and they all make good smoke and noise!

If you use photobucket or one of the other online picture storage sites it will work... and most of them are free.
