  Another  thing to look at is who are the sponsors of the show? Are ANY of them makers of things for BP or are they all not in any way tied to the old ways? If they are sponsored by a maker of modern shooting stuff, they wont want to be showing that ML's can do very well against their NEW products and will go out of the way to make sure the shooters dont have a good combo or training with them.
